Album Description

The Boy I Buried is a raw and unflinching excavation of the self — a concept album rooted in the unraveling of childhood trauma and the painful rebirth that follows. It documents the moment the walls fell, when the narratives I’d been taught (and taught myself) stopped making sense — and the dark, disorienting journey inward began.

Written during a period of intense emotional reckoning, the album explores what happens when survival mechanisms no longer serve, when outdated coping strategies start to crumble, and when the ghosts of your upbringing come knocking. It's not just about grief — it's about recognition. About realizing that the person you thought you were was shaped by trauma, silence, and suppression. And choosing, finally, to confront that.

Every sound, word, and texture on this record is personal — because it’s entirely self-created. The Boy I Buried was written, produced, composed, mixed, and mastered by me alone. It's a deeply vulnerable offering born from solitude and self-confrontation — made without compromise.

Sonically, the album moves through brooding atmospheres, distorted guitar lines, haunting melodies, and vocal performances that oscillate between quiet confession and raw catharsis. Each track serves as a chapter in the story — from the first cracks in the façade to the mourning of a false identity, and eventually, the slow, painful emergence of something truer.

This is not a record about healing as a clean or linear process. It’s about descent. About meeting the forgotten parts of yourself. About saying goodbye to a version of you that was never truly yours to begin with.

More than anything, The Boy I Buried is meant to be a lifeline — a reminder to anyone navigating trauma that you are not alone. There is a way through the darkness, but it requires facing the pain instead of avoiding it. If you’re willing to go there, freedom is possible. Not easy — but possible. And this album is exactly that.
